His dedication to his art led him to Smt. Dr. Mamta Neogi Nakra, the founder of the Kalabharati Legacy where he learned the Pandanellur Style of Bharatanatyam. As a performer, Guru Raja Dutta has performed in various festivals and events across India, showcasing his talent and skill. He has been awarded numerous awards and accolades.

Guru Raja Dutta’s commitment and dedication to Bharatanatyam have earned him respect and admiration from the dance community worldwide. His passion for the art form is contagious. He is teaching the art of dance at Manjistha Kala Kendra, a dance academy located in Kolkata that he opened in 2008 and his students are fortunate to have him as their mentor and guide.
